EASA Advanced UPRT

Aviation Performance Solutions (APS) Upset Prevention and Recovery Training (UPRT) is developed to help you prevent LOC-I and if necessary recover from developing airplane upsets.

UPRT Instructors

Our excellent instructors translate aerodynamic principles of developing upsets to scenario based on-aircraft Upset Recovery Training. Our knowledge of truly mitigating LOC-I goes well above the minimum EASA UPRT requirements.

ABOUT US

TTC/APS Europe trains professional pilots in UPRT since 2012.

Every UPRT instructor undergoes extensive training and is highly experienced in teaching pilots.

EASA Advanced UPRT

Loss of Control in Flight (LOC-I) is the number one cause of fatal accidents in aviation. Upset Prevention and Recovery Training (UPRT) is developed to help you prevent LOC-I and if necessary recover from developing airplane upsets.

Top Equipment

Our UPRT training is delivered via our Approved Training Organization (ATO) at Breda Airport (Seppe-EHSE). Our European instructors have undergone rigorous UPRT IP Upgrade Training in Phoenix and hold the high standards of APS.

APS EASA Advanced UPRT

APS EASA Advanced UPRT program is compliant with Part-FCL.745.A. It consists of 5 hours theoretical knowledge instruction and 3.3 hours flight time. The training is Strategy-based and consists of Repetition-to-Proficiency of Prevention and Recovery Skills for Long-Term Retention.

EASA PPUT

EASA Professional Pilot Upset Training (EASA PPUT) is developed for professional instrument-rated pilots and focuses on the vital skills to recognize, prevent and if necessary, recover from LOC-I, including all-weather environment scenarios as well.

Let us introduce ourselves

A few words about us

Test & Training Centre Seppe (TTC) is a joint venture partner of Aviation Performance Solutions (APS), which is based in Phoenix USA. Together they represent TTC/APS Europe.

TTC/APS Europe trains professional pilots in UPRT since 2012. Every UPRT instructor undergoes extensive training and is very experienced in teaching the necessary aerodynamic knowledge and practical skills regarding developing upsets and recover from those. In on-aircraft training, we use the Slingsby T67M200, a fully aerobatic category aircraft which provides an extra layer of safety.

Since 2012

Training UPRT professionals

TTC/APS Europe has been teaching professional pilots aerodynamics, human factors and practical skills regarding upsets since 2012.
APS recognized the importance of mitigating LOC-I by thorough UPRT training long before EASA set forth requirements in Part-FCL.745.A.
We were one of the first to offer UPRT training in Europe. Our comprehensive courses ingrain the time-critical, counter-intuitive skills necessary to prevent or, if necessary, recover from life-threatening airplane upsets.
